In the German YouTube scene there are quite a few channels and thus also a very large offer of content. Most of the YouTubers are in the field of entertainment videos. So also the channel “Abdel” which has gained more and more popularity within the last years. Yet, to this day, most of his viewers know nothing more about the person behind the channel or its beginnings.

The channel’s protagonist’s real name is also Abdel. His civil surname, however, is unknown. Furthermore, his exact date of birth and thus his age is unknown. However, Abdel has a brother who is actively represented on the Internet under the name “Hichäm”.

Abdel became known, contrary to what many might assume, not through his brother “Hichäm” but mainly through the comedy trio “ApeCrime”. Abdel himself is very good friends with the guys from “ApeCrime” and appeared several times in their videos and even actively participated in them. In this way, Abdel was able to build up a very high profile far before his own career without being active on YouTube himself. In the end, however, Abdel decided to start his own YouTube channel and produce videos on it himself.

So he finally founded his eponymous channel “Abdel” on June 18, 2015. His first video, which as of today is publicly available on the channel “Abdel”, was published on November 11, 2015 and was titled: “I LOVE MY BROTHER…. | Abdel”.

On his channel, Abdel mainly publishes entertainment videos. Among them, challenges appear on his channel as well as some other real life videos to entertain his viewers in the best possible way. Another special feature of the channel “Abdel” is that it was able to build up its popularity in a relatively short time and is still expanding. This could be mainly because he benefits from the success of other big YouTubers in whose videos he appears.

Today, the channel “Abdel” has well over 517,000 subscribers who watch his weekly videos with excitement and are entertained by them.
