What sounds like a man’s dream come true has been the main part of the life of the protagonist of the channel “AdventureBuddy” for several years. However, his motto from the very beginning has been to leave nature as it is or to leave it as it is.

Generally speaking, the channel “AdventureBuddy” represents a pure outdoor and survival channel. The real name of the protagonist of the channel “AdventureBuddy” is Felix, but his last name is unknown so far. Furthermore, his exact date of birth is also unknown. Yet he himself claims to be just 24 years old. Originally Felix comes from the city of Oldenburg in Lower Saxony, where he was born and grew up. According to his own statements, however, he now lives in a city in northern Germany, although nothing more precise is known about his current place of residence.

If you take a look at the channel “AdventureBuddy” you will quickly notice that it is a pure adventure channel. And that’s what Felix is all about in his life and in the videos on his channel: Experiencing adventures and sharing them with his viewers in the form of his videos. So among the videos on his channel are so-called “Lost Places Videos”. These are videos where he visits and explores abandoned places or buildings and shares this with his viewers.

Felix founded his channel “AdventureBuddy” at the January 24, 2017. Already one day later, on January 25, 2017, his first video titled: “ADVENTURE BUDDY | THIS IS MY CHANNEL!” was released and represented a pure introduction video of his channel as well as himself. In the early days of his channel, the now 24-year-old mainly published Lost Place videos.

Since the beginning of his channel his motto was: “Take nothing but pictures – leave nothing but footprints” which he wrote about himself and his channel in a YouTube forum back then. Already his sentence, which is his life motto, shows his closeness to nature and that he does not want to change anything when he is somewhere and that if he does, he will bring everything back to its original state.

His channel experienced very strong growth, especially in the early days. He released his video thanking 1,000 subscribers just a few months after he started the channel on April 14, 2017.

If you take a look at the channel “AdventureBuddy” nowadays you will see that only little has changed. His closeness to nature, the content on the channel, and the growth of his reach have remained the same. He now releases several new videos each week. Among them are still given Lost Places videos as well as vlogs and several other videos from the outdoor and adventure area. The growth of its subscribers also continues to grow steadily. The channel “AdventurBuddy” already has more than 607,000 subscribers and is one of the largest and most successful channels of its kind. The latter could probably also be due to the very increasing demand for these videos in recent years and the still very small competition, compared to other areas.
