An enormously large shoe collection, a good style and in addition still musicians ? These arguments suggest the YouTuber and musician “ApoRed”. In the past years of his career, he was mainly considered by several negative events in the media and thus also expanded his considerable reach. But who is actually behind the channel “ApoRed” and the artificial figure created there ?

ApoRed’s real name is Ahmad Nadim Ahadi and he was born on March 12, 1994. So he is already 25 years old. He has German citizenship, but as his name suggests, he has Afghan roots. He also currently lives in the German Hanseatic city of Hamburg.

His career, which is primarily confined to YouTube, began on August 16, 2011 with the creation of his YouTube channel “ApoRed.” He released his first video there just one day later on August17, 2011. His contents at that time were widely spread. From Lets Plays, over Lifestylevideos up to Challenges or several videos with Clickbait titles everything was there. However, these videos are no longer present on his channel today, as he clearly wants to separate his musical works from the rest of his content. Nevertheless, a change in content was clearly observable. Since 2015, mainly clickbait videos have appeared which offered little content, but were intended to generate as many views as possible through their eye-catching title. Also the cooperation with other colleagues like “Simon Desue”, “KsFreak” and others increased considerably. But also with this change in content, the criticism of today’s YouTube star increased. So-called “24 hour videos” in which he let himself be locked up overnight in various shops contributed to this change. Basically, these videos were quite interesting. ApoRed made however often a crucial error, it did not speak its project with the respective operators off, begins so several offences and had to bear the one or other criminal complaint. He took this to the extreme especially with his prank videos. In 2016, he released a video in which he threw a bag at strangers and ran away. This was supposed to be a bombing and funny. Several people suffered great anguish as a result and ApoRed received a further advertisement. Then, after spending two weeks in probation in October 2017, he was sentenced to seven months probation and 200 hours of work.

In addition to his YouTube career, he also began a musical career on 09 October 2015. The song “Photoshop” was his first own song, which, however, leaves something to be desired in terms of quality. As things stand today, this song has been able to achieve well over 35 million views. Further own music productions like “Everyday Saturday”, “Billo” or “Babawagen” followed. If you look at these music videos continuously, you can see a clear increase in quality. If you take a look at the channel “ApoRed” today, you will notice that he could collect more than 2.4 million subscribers and that only his music videos are published. Since he still wants to produce other videos and especially to look back to his roots, he founded a channel “RedSama” on April 7, 2014.Since almost two years, more precisely since November 25, 2017, he operates this channel. There he publishes Lets Plays and other gaming videos of the game Fortnite. Likewise, he also publishes quite regularly livestreams of the game. He has also been able to build up a considerable fan base on this channel. So far, he has collected over 1.4 million subscribers on his gaming channel “RedSama”.
