Cheng

He started his life by dedicating himself to photography and then to videos. HE was part of the channel “Flying Pandas” and was also one of the four guys who did the longboard tour across Germany. In the meantime he runs his own channel quite successfully and has a wife and children. We’re talking about Cheng Loew, of course.

The channel name “Cheng Loew”, which is now just “Cheng”, is derived from the civil name of the protagonist Alexander Cheng Loew. Through his YouTube career, however, he is known to most only as Cheng. He was born on 17 July 1986 and is therefore already 33 years old. As can be seen from his name, Alexander Cheng Loew is of Taiwanese origin. Nevertheless, Cheng grew up multilingual and therefore speaks German, English and Chinese or the Chinese dialect Mandarin.

In very general terms, “Cheng” is a German-speaking YouTuber and web video producer. Furthermore, he is also occasionally active as a photographer or cameraman. This activity also marked the beginning of his career as a public figure. For example, at the beginning of the channel “ApeCrime”, Cheng was a cameraman for the trio of YouTubers already known there. Through the channel “ApeCrime” he also met his colleague and friend “Julien Bam”, with whom he then founded the channel “Flying Pandas”. On this channel they produced short films and dance videos together, which were already on a very high quality level at that time.

Cheng was able to turn his original job as a photographer and cameraman from a hobby into a profession very quickly and has been working as a full-time YouTuber for several years now.

The 33 year old founded his own channel, which was called “Cheng Loew” at that time, on September 15, 2009. However, the first video available on this channel today was released on March 19, 2010 and was titled: “Consequences”. This video represented a short film in which he did not appear, but which was produced by him.

In his life, the now 33 year old moved all over Germany, often sharing flats with friends and colleagues. In the meantime, however, he lives together with his wife Sabrina at her parents to save money. They need this money to build a house on the island of Lombock which is close to Bali.

Over time, “Cheng” published mostly vlogs on his channel second by second. In the meantime, videos appear less frequently on this channel, but they often have more in-depth content.

Together with his wife he also runs the channel “Chibo”, which is a combination of the names Cheng and Sabibo. On this channel, the two publish mainly videos from the life of their small family, because in the meantime, Serviceh also have a child together.

Over time, the channel “Cheng” was operated sometimes more and sometimes less. This is mainly due to the fact that he is involved in several other projects besides his channel “Cheng” and therefore his focus is often on other projects and or channels.

Furthermore, the “Cheng” channel now has well over 1.05 million subscribers who watch his videos with excitement.
