Especially when it comes to cooking videos, he is now one of the established YouTubers in this genre. But this was not his beginning or even his breakthrough in the scene for a long time. We’re talking, of course, about the YouTuber and influencer known as “CrispyRob.” But who is actually behind the art figure created in the videos and how did his career on the web video platform YouTube begin?

“CrispyRob” is a German web video producer and author of now several cookbooks. His real name is Robert Brosowki and he was born on 01 September 1994 in Aachen. So Robert or as he calls himself and is also called by his friends “Rob” is already 25 years old. Although “CrispyRob” himself was born in Germany, his parents are not originally from Germany. Robert’s parents Serviceh come from Tajikistan and had to flee their home country at the time due to a civil war and eventually ended up in Germany.

CrispyRob” first found his way into the German YouTube scene quite late. In the context of a breakdance course he met at that time his today’s friend and colleague “Julien Bam”. At that time “Julien Bam” was already a very successful and high quality YouTuber, which was and still is a great inspiration and motivation for “CrispyRob”. In the course of time “CrispyRob” then founded a film production company and sooner or later even became part of the so-called “Bam-Crew”. So he worked for and especially with “Julien Bam” and this was the beginning of his YouTube career. Through the many videos of “Julien Bam”, in which also “CrispyRob” was to be seen, he developed very early a very large degree of fame and finally opened his own channel.

The channel, named “CrispyRob,” was then launched on April 18, 2015. Since day one and still to this day, content such as vlogs, challenges, short films and also cooking videos such as “Top 5 Recipes from …” have appeared on this channel. However, pranks are also a very big part of the channel. Out of the pranks, which are mainly directed against his friend and colleague “Simon Will” and his team, now already developed a fixed series on the channel which extends over several seasons. Meanwhile, the titles of the videos are mainly “TeamBro VS TeamWill” because the environment of Serviceh are also involved in the often very high-quality and elaborately produced and executed pranks.

“CrispyRob” lives together with his colleagues and friends Falco, Felipe and Jimmy in a shared flat in Cologne. They are also often part of the pranks against and from the opposing “TeamWill”.

The first video published on the channel “CrispyRob” was titled: “Who is CrispyRob?” and was uploaded on April 19, 2015, just one day after the channel was created. The content of the video is an artistic and cinematic introduction of the person behind the channel and a kind of preview of upcoming content.

By the end of May 2018, “CrispyRob” already surpassed 1,000,000 subscribers to which there was then a video back on May 25, 2015 titled: “1,000,000 Subscribers LIVE REACTION!” capturing “CrispyRob’s” reaction to this milestone.

Today, the channel “CrispyRob” already has over 1.7 million subscribers. He still posts videos regularly which all fit the pattern he has been following on his channel ever since.
