“What’s up, fellas? My name is Danny Jesden.” This is a greeting that pretty much all younger viewers on YouTube will know. But where does this “DannyJesden” come from, how was his career on YouTube and why do many younger viewers watch him?

His real name is “DannyJesden” Daniele Marchese and he was born on 30.12.1994 and is therefore already 24 years old.

If you look at his YouTube career, you’ll quickly see that this channel wasn’t his first and certainly not his main channel. This first assumption actually corresponds to the truth. In 2011, more precisely on March 28, 2011, Daniele already created his first channel called “DannyBurnage”. On this site he set himself the goal to publish Lets Plays and Commentarys of different shooter games. He did so just a few months later on June 15, 2011 with a video titled “Burnage Style on Highrise.” This video, similar to many of the following videos, shows a gameplay of the shooter game Call of Duty. In further videos the commentaries were added to the gameplays, in which he commented on the visuals. With this channel he could celebrate among other things a moderate to even very good success. If you take a look at this channel today, you can see that it has over 750,000 subscribers.

Just two years later on September 13, 2013, he founded the channel “DannyJesden”, which at the time was still intended as a secondary channel. As exactly this he used this channel for the time being, however, not in the conventional sense, as one knew this from several other YouTubers so far. Since he limited his channel “DannyBurnage” only to Lets Plays and Commentarys of Shooterames, he used the second channel to expand this field. Through the channel “DannyJesden2 he was able to publish Reactions as well as Lets Plays and Commentarys of several other videos. Besides several gaming videos he also published real life videos on this channel. Besides child unfriendly content in which he played games with an age restriction of 16 or even 18, the child friendly content on this channel also increased. After the last video appeared on the channel “DannyBurnage” on 20 November 2015, the positions of the channels changed. The planned second channel suddenly became Daniele’s main channel on which he regularly published his content. One reason for this change could be the interest in the respective content of the videos.

If you take a look at the channel “DannyJesden” today, you will see that he has now collected over 1,400,000 subscribers. Its content has also changed significantly. The videos basically deal with quite child-friendly content and are just as child-friendly commented by him. Due to its content, its community has also been significantly rejuvenated. This has now led to a video on February 26, 2019 titled “The LAST video on this CHANNEL?” in which he announces renewed change. He has now created another channel, but this time with the same name, on which he wants to publish more content appropriate to his age. He came to this realization mainly because he feels dissatisfied and uncomfortable with his current content and therefore heralds this change. The new channel, called “Danny Jesden,” was able to count over 210,000 subscribers after just a few days.
