At that time the company Nintendo founded an empire, which until today brought out several consoles and games with which they could celebrate a huge success. Some people still have a very strong affinity for this company and their consoles today. So is the very successful and well-known YouTube channel called “Domtendo”. However, despite its very high profile, little to nothing is known about the person behind the channel and its career.

The real name of the operator of the channel “Domtendo” is Dominik Neumeyer. He was born on 12 May 1993 in the Bavarian town of Geretsried and is therefore already 26 years old. Dominik also has a younger brother who is also active on YouTube under the name “Manu10744”. However, he has not really been successful with this channel so far. After Dominik finished his school career, he did not start an apprenticeship because he did not get an apprenticeship place for the time being. Since then Dominik finances his living through his YouTube videos as well as his livestreams.

The name of the channel “Domtendo” is derived from his civil name as well as from his great affinity to Nintendo and thus forms a mixture of Dominik and Nintendo.

Dominik founded his channel “Domtendo” on 24 January 2007 when he was just 14 years old. However, he released his first video over two years later on June 14, 2009 at the age of 16, after he finished school. His first video was titled: “Pokemon Platinum: Battle against Battle Hall Battle Luminary” and presented a kind of Let’s Play of the Nintendo game Pokemon. At that time he filmed the display of his Nintendo with a simple camera. In contrast to today’s quality demands, this is already a huge difference. Later on, “Domtendo” continued to release parts of this Pokemon series. In addition, after a short time, other games appeared that were recorded in a different way but were also games that were playable on the Nintendo.

Over time, Domtendo then built up a considerable following. His affinity was always on consoles and games of the company Nintendo. Initially, he also only published videos of these games. However, as time went on, “Domtendo” also decided to publish Let’s Plays of other games.

Today, up to three videos appear daily on the “Domtendo” channel, usually at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. Furthermore, “Domtendo” also publishes quite regularly livestreams on the platform Twitch or even partly on YouTube.

For the time being, the channel “Domtendo” was under contract with the network TNG. However, he decided to move to the TubeOne network last November. Thus, “Domtendo” has been a commercial YouTube partner since the channel was signed to the network TNG, which made it easier for him to make money from his videos.

Meanwhile, “Domtendo” has already earned over 1.1 million subscribers on his channel who watch his daily videos with excitement.
