All over the world and especially in Germany the topic of camper conversions and campervans is becoming more and more popular. Thus, in recent years, in addition to the people who practice this hobby in the private sector, more and more Youtube channels were created, which deal with this topic. This is also the case with the German channel “Freundship”.

Generally speaking, “Freundship” is a German DIY and adventure channel. DIY in the sense that he transforms several motor vehicles of different types into a camper and documents it in video form to share with his viewers. The face and protagonist of the channel “Freundship” real name is Dominik Freud. However, his exact date of birth and thus his exact age are unknown so far.

Dominik founded the channel “Freundship” on 07 January 2018. On the same day he also published his first video on this channel, which was titled: “VW T4 Campervan Droneshot”. In this video he showed his first project so far, which was already finished at that time. The first extensive project on the channel “Freundship” was then called “in 30 days to the DIY Camper”. At that time he showed in almost daily videos how he converted a car into a “do it yourself” camper within 30 days. Even then with this first project he managed to reach and win over a very large number of viewers.

The rapid growth of the channel “Freundship” is most likely due to the fact that there is a very large and still persistent interest of numerous viewers in the topic of camper extension. Many people dream of freedom, of being able to travel anywhere and live anywhere without electricity. Dominik fulfills this dream with his campers, because he builds them in such a way that they produce electricity and even have running water. This means that he and his campers are not dependent on a power or water connection when travelling.

After his first project, several other projects in the field of camper conversions followed. The special thing about the “Freundship” channel, however, is that the projects became more and more elaborate and larger in the process. For example, his latest project to date was the conversion of an ambulance and was called “From Ambulance to Campervan”.
Furthermore, Dominik lives since March 2020 full time in his already finished “ambulance campervan” and travels besides his work, which he can do from on the road, throughout Germany.

If you take a look at the channel “Freundship” today, you will see that several new videos from the areas of camper expansion, vlogs and road trips are published weekly. In the meantime, the channel already has well over 93,000 subscribers, with a clear upward trend due to the great interest in the topic.
