n the German YouTube scene there are several genres. Among them, there is also a very wide range of gaming YouTubers. A number of them have been active on the web video platform YouTube for some time. Many of these YouTubers also started playing the RPG sanbox game Minecraft back in the day and benefited from the hype revolving around it. So does the YouTube channel “Gamerstime.” In the meantime, this is also quite well known. Still, few of his viewers today know his beginnings or the person behind it.

The real name of the protagonist and operator of the channel “Gamerstime” is Kevin Lohse. Kevin was born on 25 July 1990 and is therefore already 30 years old.

Generally speaking, “Gamerstime” is a German Let’s Player and Gaming YouTuber. However, contrary to what many think, his beginnings are not on YouTube. Kevin started on the livestream platform Twitch under the synonym “GTimeTV” with daily gaming streams. He started out primarily with the RPG sandbox game Minecraft and after a while switched to the web video platform YouTube.

There he founded his channel “Gamerstime” on 03 May 2014. His first video on it appeared, as of today, on March 24, 2015 and was titled: “Minecraft The Funniest Deaths with earliboy and AviveHD”. This video was a kind of best of collection of his previous videos and livestreams respectively. However, Kevin has since distanced himself from his Minecraft content, or the game in general. This is mainly due to personal interests. Since then, “Gamerstime” has been considered a so-called “multi-gaming channel”.

At the beginning of his career he published his videos mainly without facecam and thus did not show himself. However, he was then a part of the “1 Month Livestream” of “Simon Unge” in April 2016. Everyone involved was careful not to show Kevin on any camera the entire time. However, since several people were involved in the stream to be able to complete it, the non-sighting of Kevin was relatively difficult. So it happened that in a stream of “NotNilo” Kevin was seen briefly. So after that Kevin’s appearance was leaked and his viewers knew what he looked like. As a result of this Kevin decided to publish a video as part of the “1 month stream” in which he also showed himself publicly on his channel for the first time. Since then he publishes his videos also with Facecam.

A very special feature of “Gamerstime” is that it does not attach any importance to the number of its viewers. For example, some videos of him are viewed less often because of a game. However, this does not Serviceher the 30 year old at all. Im much more important that he does what he enjoys than that he does something with less enjoyment just to generate lots of views.

Furthermore he is very good friends with “ZanderLP”, who helped him a lot especially in the early days of his channel and also supported him in building up his reach.

Today, new videos and regular gaming livestreams appear daily on the “Gamerstime” channel. His channel already has well over 410,000 subscribers, making it one of the most popular gaming YouTube channels in Germany.
