In recent years, it has become increasingly common for TV personalities or former TV personalities to set up their own YouTube channel and publish their videos on it. The special thing about this is that these people already have a very high profile and therefore, in most cases, skip the “difficult” time on YouTube and start their career on YouTube with a very high profile and viewership. This was also the case with the channel “EHRENPFLAUME” which was founded some time ago and has been growing steadily ever since.

Behind the channel “EHRENPFLAUME” is the former presenter and TV personality Kai Pflaume. His real name is also Kai Pflaume and he was born on 27 May 1967 in Halle (Saale) in Saxony-Anhalt. This means that Kai Pflaume is already 53 years old. Kai Pflaume spent his childhood and youth, as well as several years of adulthood, in the former GDR. Together with his family, Kai Pflaume lived in the Saxon city of Leipzig. After graduating from high school, he studied computer science in Magdeburg, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt. However, Serviceh he and his family saw that their future should not lie in the former GDR. In the autumn of 1989, they finally embarked on a very dangerous journey. Together they fled via Budapest to the FRG. He then lived with his family in the Hessian city of Frankfurt am Main.

Nowadays Kai Pflaume has two sons and lives near the Bavarian city of Munich. During his career as a presenter, he hosted numerous television shows. The most famous of these to date is probably “Nur die Liebe zählt”. Today he still hosts the quiz show “Wer weiß denn sowas?” which is broadcast on ARD television.

Kai Pflaume founded his own YouTube channel “EHRENPFLAUME” only on April 05, 2020. It is important to mention that the channel name comes from Kai Pflaume’s community. These called him broadly before in the social media increasingly “EHRENPFLAUME” whereupon Kai decided to call his own YouTube channel also so. The first video on this channel appeared quite a few months after the channel was founded on September 05, 2020 and was titled: “Watch this trailer!!!! – “EHRENPFLAUME on Tour” – Everything you will see here soon”. Since this first video on Kai Pflaume’s channel, new videos have appeared weekly, in which he once again takes on the role of presenter. In the videos, he spends a day together with various YouTube greats and popular channels. This becomes clear after one look at the channel and its videos. If you then look further into the channel information, you will also find that the channel concept is primarily based on these videos.

Because of his own very high profile, rapid growth of him and especially his channel was possible. The trend of increasing the awareness of his channel is also still very much on the rise. Already, the channel “EHRENPFLAUME” has well over 509,000 subscribers.
