The German YouTube scene has been growing steadily in recent years. More and more channels are gaining significantly in popularity and can convince with their content. A number of channels that originate from the gaming genre can also profit significantly from this growth in awareness. In recent years, the channel “izzi” also felt this clearly. However, despite the very high profile of the channel “izzi” and the person behind it, little is known about exactly those. Furthermore, it is equally unknown which way the channel had to go until it could achieve such a degree of popularity.

The real name of the operator and protagonist of the channel is “izzi” Alexander, although his last name is unknown. Alexander was born on 14 March 1993 in the small town of Overath in Baden-Württemberg. So he is already 26 years old.

Furthermore, “izzi” is primarily a German-speaking Let’s Player and Vlogger. However, it is worth mentioning that his YouTube career started quite late.

For the time being, “izzi” studied social sciences after graduating from high school from 2010 to 2012. Later he completed an apprenticeship as a media designer. Furthermore, after his studies he was employed as a cameraman at “Momento Media” from August 2012 to April 2013. This was also the company that produced the interview format of the channel “Clixoom”. He went on to attend the Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln in the field of media business from 2013 to 2015.

The first time “izzi” appeared publicly on the channel “Y-Play”. This was the gaming channel of the comedy trio “YTITTY” at the time. On this channel he met, among others, his current friend and colleague “Felix von der Laden”. Quickly the viewers of that time found great joy in “izzi” and wished for his own channel as soon as possible.

At that time, “izzi” could not contradict this wish and without further ado founded his first own channel on September 24, 2013. He released his first video of his own on this channel on October 30, 2013. This was titled “izzi ist am stizzi!!! – Announcement Video” and was, as the title suggests, an introduction or announcement video. The first proper format on the channel appeared from 2014 and was called “ramble”. Together with “Felix von der Laden” “izzi” created a kind of talk format which was very well received by the fans for a long time. Later on, several Let’s Plays followed on the channel “izzi”.
Then in 2016, he moved into the office called “UFO” together with “Paluten”, “Sturmwaffel”, “Felix von der Laden” and Rewinside. Back in 2018, he moved out of that office and into his new one which bears the name he chose, “The Box”.

After more and more vlogs were published on his channel and they were very well received by his viewers, he decided to open a second channel for Let’s Plays. So on February 05, 2017, he founded his second channel called “izzi – eZ” on which Let’s Plays are published until today.
Furthermore, the channel “izzi” is under contract with the company “25Mate”, which is managed by “Felix von der Laden”, and is marketed by the same.

Nowadays, new content appears regularly on the channel “izzi” and on the channel “izzi – eZ”. These are followed and eagerly watched by his already 1.2 million subscribers.
