A German channel which managed to do this and is still working on her fame is the channel “Jolina Mennen”.
The channel’s protagonist’s real name is also Jolina Mennen. She was born on 03 September 1992 in Bremen and is therefore just 28 years old. The most special thing about her person and her channel is probably the fact that she was actually still a boy when she was born. Jolina also grew up in Bremen with her grandmother. Already in her youth she noticed quite quickly that she is actually a girl and would like to be so. From that point on, she was very open about the subject.
In very general terms, “Jolina Mennen” is a German YouTuber and influencer in the beauty and lifestyle field. The 28 year old founded her YouTube channel in 2008. Her first video, however, was released on October 17, 2013, and was titled “What’s in my bag? Michael Kors” and was already a lifestyle video at an early stage. However, it is publicly known that she had been actively operating this YouTube channel since 2012. However, it is not yet known why she deleted the previous videos on her channel “Jolina Mennen”, or rather why they are no longer publicly accessible today. From the very beginning of her videos, she was very open about her transsexuality. A very big support for her was her current husband Florian Mennen, whom she met and fell in love with in 2010. The special thing about this relationship and today’s marriage is probably that in 2010 Jolina has not yet had any gender reassignment surgery done on her and her body. On the contrary, this process still took a very long time, because her final gender reassignment surgery did not take place until 2019. At that time Jolina and Florian Mennen were already married.
Over time, however, Jolina changed the content on her channel a bit. So little by little more and more videos appeared which can be classified mainly in the category of lifestyle videos. In addition to these videos, which often served momentary hypes, appear on the channel “Jolina Mennen” also with time more and more vlogs in which she documents her everyday life and / or special experiences from it and holds for her and her viewers.
