Behind the channel “JP Performance” is the real name Jean Pierre “JP” Kramer. Jean Pierre Kramer was born on 12 September 1980 and is now 39 years old.

The “JP Performance” channel is the most successful German-language YouTube channel in the automotive sector. Jean Pierre Kramer himself first became known through the conventional media. At that time he was an integral part of the TV docu-soap “Die PS-Profis – Mehr Power aus dem Pott”. This series led in the final effect to the notoriety he has to record today.

After Jean Pierre Kramer had successfully finished his school career, he began an apprenticeship as a car salesman at the company “Porsche”. During his employment at the “Porsche” company, he was able to work his way up to sales manager at the “9ff” Porsche tuner. His affinity for the automotive sector thus began in his early youth.

In 2007 he founded the so-called “Five Star Performance GmbH” together with his colleague Sidney Hoffmann. The workshop rooms of the own company were used at the same time for the filming of the docu-soap. Despite all the good moods, it came to the separation at the beginning of 2012 and thus to the dissolution of the joint workshop. However, in May 2012, Jean Pierre Kramer founded his own new garage which still bears the name “JP Performance GmbH”.

The same month he launched his new auto repair shop, Jean Pierre Kramer also launched his YouTube career. He founded his channel “JP Performance” on 05 May 2012. Since its foundation seven years ago, he has regularly published automotive videos there.

Furthermore Jean Pierre Krame was still often to be seen on TV after the end of his docu-soap. He appeared among others in several TV events like the “Stock Car Crash Challenge” or the “Wok – WM”. In 2016 and 2017 he hosted the so-called “24 hours race” for the channel “RTL – Nitro” which is broadcast live from the Nürburgring every year.

Furthermore, Jean Pierre Kramer clearly knew how to positively implement his growing fame and popularity in his business premises as well. On August 21, 2017, Serviceh the restaurant called “Big Boost Fast Food” and several show rooms opened at his workshop.

If you take a look at the channel “JP Performance” you will see that the hype around Jean Pierre Kramer and his channel is justified. He still publishes interesting and exciting automotive videos on a regular basis.
