The genre of vlogs has become increasingly popular on YouTube in recent years. Quite a few channels chose these videos as the main part of their channel and hence the supply increased a lot. To stand out from the crowd in this very large offer, it requires that the videos are of very high quality and the creator himself brings several own qualifications to be unique. So the channel “Oskar” represents a vlog channel, which stands out from the crowd not only because of its very high video quality but also because of his person. In recent years, the popularity of the channel “Oskar” increased so much. Nevertheless, many of his viewers do not know the beginnings of his quite young career.

The protagonist’s real name is also Oskar, although his surname is still unknown. For many of his viewers, Oskar is also known as “dieseroskar”, among other things. This is mainly because it is called “thisoskar” on all social media sites. Oskar was born on 13 February 2002 and is therefore just 18 years old.

In very general terms, “Oskar” is a German web video producer and YouTuber. Nowadays, Oskar mainly publishes vlogs and lifestyle videos on his eponymous channel. Due to his very young age, Oskar often has to live with some hate from his viewers. However, he doesn’t let that hate get him down or impress him.

It remains to be noted, however, that Oskar by no means started out in the genre of vlogs. At a very young age, 11 years old, Oskar founded his channel on June 24, 2013. At that time, however, it was still called “OGGtvComedy” and its focus was still mainly on comedy videos and short films. Oskar released his first video, which can be found today, on December 29, 2013. This one was titled: “WOOW #2” and represents a series of a format that Oskar was running at the time. However, this video is not his very first, as it is the second installment of this format.

Oskar’s passion and very great interest in the field of film and video became apparent at a very early age. His two parents and especially his father, who is active on the net under the name “DieserDad”, supported him from the beginning. Thus, nothing stood in the way of his creativity and passion from the side of his parents.

In the end, however, Oskar decided to publish mainly vlogs on his channel from now on and renamed his channel. Then, since June 2016, awareness of the person and the channel rose sharply. When “Simon Unge” then stayed overnight at Oskar’s home as part of his “0-Tour” and also showed this in his videos, the awareness of Oskar and his channel rose enormously once again and increased the hype and him and his channel. This hype started especially when Oskar started his so-called “Daily Vlogs”. Within a few weeks, his awareness went from about 80,000 subscribers to 200,000 subscribers.

As a great role model for his videos is for him especially the English channel “Casey Neistat”, which also offers a very good video quality.

Nowadays, new videos no longer appear daily on the Oskar channel. For it a new video appears approximately weekly, which are for it around a much more complex and contentwise and qualitatively high-quality. As a result, Oskar has already amassed well over 453,000 subscribers on his channel, which means he’s already close to his next milestone once again.
