For most people in Germany, however, the step away from consumerism and towards minimalism is still very difficult, which is why only a few people pursue this lifestyle. However, the YouTube channel “Peace Love and Om” is all about minimalism and the people who enjoy this life.

Generally speaking, “Peace Love and Om” is a German YouTube channel and web video producer whose videos are mainly about the minimalism lifestyle. Another special feature of the channel “Peace Love and Om” is that the operator of the channel does not appear in her videos. The main content of her video is that she portrays the lives of people and the people themselves who live differently. This already becomes clear when looking at the channel information of the channel “Peace Love and Om”, in which it says: “On this channel I portray people who live differently: Consciously reduced in vans or tiny houses.”. Thus, the theme of the channel and its videos becomes clear very quickly, it is minimalism. However, the videos do not revolve around the operator’s own life but that of other people who follow this lifestyle.

Little is also known about the operator of the “Peace Love and Om” channel. So far we only know that her real name is Katja, but her real surname is also unknown. However, it becomes clear that since the videos supposedly began in 2015, their focus has already been on minimalism and documenting the alternative lifestyles of others.

In recent years, there has been a significant increase in interest in minimalism and alternative lifestyles around the world. Thus, the videos of the channel “Peace Love and Om” clearly hit the mark with the growing interest. In addition to the YouTube channel, Katja shows these alternative lifestyles of different lifestyles, also on her Instagram account of the same name.
The growing interest in the topic is also reflected in the increasing popularity of the “Peace Love and Om” channel. On average, one new video appears on the channel every week. With these videos and content, the channel has now managed to gain 121,000 subscribers and the trend is also rising sharply due to the increasing interest in the topic.
