In the German YouTube scene there are several channels, which are in the genre of gaming and regularly produce new gaming videos of different games for their viewers. Several of these channels use Let’s Plays and design their videos in this form. This is also the case with the channel “Petrit”, which has been able to attract a very large number of viewers in recent years. However, few viewers are likely to know who is actually behind the channel “Petrit” and how its career found its beginnings.

The real name of the channel operator is “Petrit” Petrit Shaqiri. However, his exact date of birth and thus his exact age are not yet publicly known. However, his age can be estimated to be around mid to late 20s. Shaqiri himself is Albanian and comes from Kosovo. Together with his family, however, he moved to Germany during his childhood. Here he also finished his school career.

Generally speaking, “Petrit” is a German YouTuber and web video producer. His videos on the main channel “Petrit” are in the genre of gaming in the form of Let’s Plays. Petrit” has become famous for his gaming Let’s Plays. However, apart from his gaming videos, Shaqiri also publishes lifestyle and entertainment videos of various kinds on his secondary channel “Petrit Shaqiri”, which already has well over 305,000 subscribers. He deliberately decided to set up two channels in order to separate his videos from each other in terms of content and location.

Shaqiri founded his main channel “Petrit” on February 11, 2013. He released the first video on it on 05 March 2013 and was titled: ” WIESO Ein Neuer KANAL? #Neustart”. Already when reading the title it becomes clear that the channel “Petrit” was definitely not the first channel of Shaqiri and he therefore already had the chance to gain some experience with YouTube.

At the beginning of the channel “Petrit”, the focus of him was clearly visible on the RPG sandbox game Minecraft. It was through this game that he published almost all of his videos in the early days. In the course of his career, however, Let’s Plays to other games appeared again and again.

These days, Shaqiri regularly posts new content on Serviceh of his channels. On the channel “Petrit” alone, he has already managed to win over more than 490,000 subscribers.
