Many people ask themselves these and many other questions, but they don’t try out many things because they don’t have the time, the courage or simply because they are afraid of extreme situations. However, there is a YouTube channel which conducts these exact selfies for its viewers and shares the experiences with its viewers. The channel in question is called “tomatolix” and is becoming more and more popular. However, very few of the viewers know the person behind the channel or where it comes from.

The protagonist of the channel “tomatolix” bears the name Felix Michels. He was born on 25 November 1994 and is therefore already 26 years old. Furthermore, it is known about the person behind the channel “tomatolix” that he himself lives in the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Cologne and has a younger brother. According to his own statement, he had access to the Internet relatively late and was able to surf the Internet independently for the first time at the age of 14. After his school career, Felix completed an apprenticeship as a media designer for image and sound.

Generally speaking, “tomatolix” is a German YouTuber and web video producer. On his channel he publishes mainly self-experiments. These often contain very extreme and controversial topics, which often increases the attention to the videos and also polarize them very much. Felix always puts the self-experiments into a kind of reportage. This brings a lot of effort and work for a video, but also guarantees that his self-experiments are safe and always offer an informative added value for his viewers.

The channel “tomatalix” was founded by Felix on September 14, 2010. The first video on it that can be found today appeared on August 12, 2012 and was titled “All about Videoday 2012 -YouTalk #2”. From the title alone, you can tell that this was by no means his very first video. However, is not publicly known ‘, which is why the videos published before are no longer accessible. One possible explanation, however, would be that the content produced at that time would not have fit in with the current channel concept and would therefore have disrupted the channel image.

For this reason, only about one video a month appears on the channel, which is then mostly a self-experiment. With this channel concept Felix managed to convince more than 516,000 people to subscribe to his channel and follow it permanently.
