At the time, sktech and comedy videos were very popular on YouTube. However, this weakened in the course of the time and increased now in the past years again clearly. Quite a few channels on YouTube are trying to cater to this genre and become successful via these types of videos. In order not to get lost in this mass of people, it is necessary that you have some character traits of your own which make you unique and above all worth seeing. This was now also recognized by the channel “Varion” and experienced a very large hype in the second half of 2019.

The civil name of the protagonist of the channel “Varion” is not yet known. Only known is his nickname which is Flo. Also his exact date of birth is not yet known. Publicly available is only that Flo was born in 1992 in a village in Mecklemburg-Vorpommern, near the city of Schwerin. Thus, it is noted that Flo is now 28 years old. In real life Flo is a trained metal worker and still works in this profession. However, in a recent interview, he stated that he now wants to focus more and more on his YouTube career.

Generally speaking, “Varion” is a German web video producer. It is important to note, however, that the “Varion” channel was clearly not Flo’s first channel. On the channel “Varion” he publishes nowadays regularly new sketch and comedy videos, which are on average two to five minutes long.

Flo founded the channel “Varion” already on April 06, 2014. He released his first video, which can be found today, on 01 March 2016. This one was titled “THE END” and announces significant changes in this video. At the beginning of his channel Flo published mainly commentary videos of the first person shooter game “Call Of Duty”.

In the meantime, however, Flo has clearly put his focus on comedy videos. Yet his videos are somewhat special in that he does a kind of “one man comedy”. That means he plays all the roles in his videos, which is extremely well received by his viewers. Furthermore, he also takes on the task of writing the screenplay, directing and editing alone. In the case of the latter, however, he recently stated that he is now getting help and no longer has to accomplish this task entirely on his own.

In the last year the attention to the channel “Varion” increased more and more. Several bigger and already known channels took a look at the “new guy” and helped him to get a little more fame. So did one of the first “Phil Laude” and became aware of the channel “Varion”. However, in relation to other channels, this led to only a slight increase in its awareness. However, when “Simon Unge” then watched several videos of the channel “Varion” in one of his livestreams “unclicked”, this led to an immense increase in his subscribers. Previously, the channel had just 10,000 subscribers which can be inferred from the fact that it just released its subscriber special on November 02, 2019. Since the livestream of “Simon Unge” a strong growth of the channel “Varion” can be observed. The channel has been gaining about 25,000 new subscribers a day since then.
While the channel’s cover image announces a new video for every Sunday, the channel regularly breaks this own little restriction and releases new videos in between. These videos are always in the field of sketch and comedy videos. This is extremely well received by his viewers and he still polarizes a lot. Meanwhile, the channel also already has well over 898,000 subscribers.
