As children you know this very often, you set each other tasks and or tests of courage which it is to master. If this is not achieved, the respective loser is threatened with a liable penalty. This is exactly the channel concept from the "You'll never make it!" channel.

Challenges and other entertainment videos have always been very popular in the German scene. Numerous channels recognized this and use this genre to increase their own popularity with these videos. However, due to the very high supply, only a few channels managed to prevail over the other channels. One of the channels that managed to do this is the “You’ll never make it!” channel. Despite the now very high profile of the channel, few of the viewers know more about it.

Generally speaking, “Das schaffst du nie!” is a German entertainment channel or rather a German entertainment format. The format “Das schaffst du nie!” is produced by “PULS” on behalf of “funk”.

The protagonists of the format “You’ll never make it!” are primarily Ariane “Ari” Alter, who was born on 08 March 1986 and is therefore 34 years old, Sebastian Meinberg, who was born on 22 December 1982 and is therefore 38 years old, and Marc Seibold, whose exact date of birth and therefore age is as yet unknown. The concept of the format is that Ariane and Sebastian get so-called challenges from Marc. The ideas for this mostly come from the community of the format. The special thing about it, however, is that Sebastian and/or Ariane not only have to fulfill the respective tasks, but are sabotaged again and again by Marc in the process. The winners of the challenges can give a penalty to the respective loser after the challenges have been completed. The punishments are also recorded on the channel in video form and published on the channel “You’ll never make it!”. Thus, the concept of the format “You’ll never make it!” can be seen as a kind of “moderation vs. editing”.

Looking at the history of the format, it’s important to note that this hasn’t been posted on YouTube since the beginning. Only after 181 episodes on television, with numerous formats of “PULS” being broadcast on BR television until 2017, the format “Das schaffst du nie!” was cancelled on television and continued on YouTube. Thus, the channel “You’ll never make it!” was only launched on the May 23, 2017 established. The first video on this channel didn’t appear until about a month later on June 22, 2017 and was titled: “Challenge: Don’t pass out while doing aerobatics || “You’ll never make it!””. Even then, the channel “Das schaffst du nie!” followed the same concept as BR television, where this format was first broadcast in 2014. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the format “You’ll never make it!” was able to achieve significantly greater success on YouTube than on television. Furthermore, it is also clear that “Das schaffst du nie!” is the most successful YouTube offering from “PULS”.

If you look at the channel “You’ll never make it!” today, it’s clear that it’s still active with the same channel concept. Every Thursday at 3pm a new video appears on the channel, which can be seen from the channel banner. This has also been maintained since the beginning of the canal. With the videos on the “Das schaffst du nie!” channel, this has now reached well over 773,000 subscribers and is thus clearly the most successful format of “PULS” on YouTube.
