A steep career with many ups and downs.

A steep career with many ups and downs.

The German gaming scene is a highly competitive field on YouTube. In the course of the last years a very large offer of channels has developed, whereby most of them are in the area of gaming and Let’s Plays. Thus, several years ago, the channel “Zander” was founded and clearly chose the genre of gaming. Quite fast “Zander” had to realize that it is quite difficult to become known in this genre and then to be able to hold this popularity. Despite all this, he did not decide to pretend, but remained true to himself all the time.

The real name of the protagonist and operator of the channel “Zander” is Michael Müller. Michael was born on 02 May 1990 in the small town of Wesel in North Rhine-Westphalia and is therefore already 30 years old. In the meantime, however, Michael lives together with his girlfriend in Frankfurt am Main.

Generally speaking, “Zander” is a German-speaking Let’s Player and Gaming YouTuber. The channel “Zander” is best known for its videos on the RPG Sanbox game Minecraft.
Michael founded his channel on August 18, 2011, but at that time it was still called “ZanderLP”. The first video on the channel “Zander” appeared, however, only a few months after the channel foundation on January 8, 2012 and was titled: “LPT Minecraft “CreeperEye” #1 – Einfach Alles Kaputt Machen!”. The peculiarity of the channel ” Zander” was that he could very quickly increase its popularity. Already on June 25, 2014, the channel reached the 200,000 subscribers for the first time.

Over time, “Zander” changed his videos in that he posted Let’s Plays and other gaming videos of other games on his channel in addition to Minecraft.

The rapid success of the channel “Zander” all to no avail. Back on June 13, 2014, Michael announced that he would be ending his YouTube career to focus more on his actual profession. However, this decision did not last very long. Back on October 17, 2014, “Zander” announced his comeback. The biggest downside to his career hiatus, however, was that he lost several thousand subscribers and viewers due to his announcement that he was ending his career. However, when he announced his comeback, he managed to increase his subscribers and viewers again enormously.
In the course of his career, “Zander” has already taken part in a number of projects. For example, he was an integral part of the “1 Month Stream” of “Simon Unge” in 2016 which also positively benefited his fame.

If you take a look at the channel “Zander” nowadays, you will notice on the one hand that it does not publicly show its subscriber numbers in the meantime. Thus, it is not possible to determine exactly how many subscribers he has at the present time. However, it is known that the last public count was around 400,000 subscribers. On the other hand you can see that he publishes daily new videos on his main channel “Zander” which are all about gaming. Michael also runs a second channel called “Zanderama” which he now uses mainly for vlogs.
