For a long time, such scenes were unimaginable in Germany. However, events like “RAM” or DLTLLY” managed to create such an event and platform on the internet. Above all, however, the “DLTLLY” event stands out strongly from the others of its kind in Germany.

Generally speaking, “DLTLLY”, which is also the name of the YouTube channel, is a German acapella battlerap event. This event is oriented on the previous “Rap on Wednesday” event. However, the special feature of “DLTLLY” is that Serviceh the opponents and the host of the event compete against each other without a microphone in front of the audience. Serviceh the spectators and the organizers see this as more “real” and therefore closer to the spectators. The event, as well as individual excerpts from it, will be broadcast on the web video platform YouTube and the channel of the same name on it.

The channel “DLTLLY” was founded on 23 October 2012. The first video on this channel appeared the same day and was titled: “DLTLLY with Stig of the Dump and Dabbla (LDZ) BARS # 1 at BoomBap Festival”. Already this video represented the beginnings of the first battles in this sense and quickly the channel as well as the event found great popularity and a very large response in the German rap scene.

Also from the platform “DLTLLY” numerous Battlerap greats have emerged in the meantime, which are nowadays known all over Germany. Furthermore “DLTLLY” is nowadays one of the biggest and most famous Battlerap events in whole Germany.

DLTLLY” was founded by the musicians “Jolly Jay” and “H-to-O” and quickly developed into a very popular and large event. Almost from the beginning, “Big Chief” as he is called in the scene, has been host, moderator and figurehead of the event and the channel. The special thing about him is his very deep and rough voice, which comes into its own very well at the events without a microphone and is very well and quickly remembered by the audience and fans.

If you take a look at the channel “DLTLLY” nowadays, you will also notice this very strong growth. In the meantime, the channel has well over 83,400 subscribers, although the trend is rising sharply due to the very high level of interest in the topic. Every week several new videos are released which all revolve around the topic of music and the genre of Deutschrap contained therein.
